Grand Central Station stabbing suspect shot by police dies

The NYPD is asking for help identifying the man wanted for a brutal attack in the Bronx.

Police say a 56-year-old man was standing at Middletown Road and Bruckner Boulevard when another man began punching him. The suspect is also accused of slashing the victim in the back of the head.

The victim was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
