Police: Trio wanted for attacking, robbing man and teen on board 5 train in West Farms

Police are searching for a trio involved in a subway robbery in the West Farms section of the Bronx.

Police are searching for a trio involved in a subway robbery in the West Farms section of the Bronx.
The incident happened last Tuesday around 7 p.m. when a 34-year-old man and a 17-year-old were approached by three individuals on the 5 train.
Police say that is when the victims were targeted. Police say the trio demanded money and when they refused, the victims were beaten.
The victims were punched and kicked multiple times before one of the suspects snatched a cellphone from one of the victims before taking off.
Authorities describe the suspects to be in their late teens or early twenties.
News 12 is told the victims were treated at the hospital for lacerations to their heads and body.
Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information that leads to an arrest and indictment.
