Four men were arrested after a vehicle search for a white Ford Explorer in connection to a shooting at 1155 Gerard Ave., police say.
Police tell News 12 that two men were shot at the Gerard Avenue address around 10:44 p.m. A 24-year-old male was shot in the head, and a 34-year-old male was shot in the left leg. Both victims were treated at NYC Health + Hospitals and are in stable condition.
Police stopped a vehicle after learning that a white Ford Explorer was involved, and officers found four men in the vehicle. Police say loaded firearms were recovered. The four people were all arrested, and charges are pending.
People in the area say they are hoping to see a decrease in gun violence with a new administration.
