The holiday season is right around the corner, and as people start looking for gifts, police are warning shoppers of would-be criminals.
Police are advising people not to shop while having headphones in their ears and to keep their phones hidden and out of sight.
Officials are also warning those who give to charities around the holidays to be wary of phone scams asking for donations.
