Police say a woman was killed after being hit by a construction truck, which then left the scene, in East New York Friday afternoon.

Police say the woman, identified as 61-year-old Estelle Davis, was hit while a truck was going into reverse near New Lots and Van Sinderen avenues - but it seems like the driver did not know she was there.

They say Davis was found unconscious with serious trauma, and it wasn't immediately clear what happened to her.

Police have not confirmed any arrests.
