Those wanting a bit of fresh air can get their COVID-19 vaccine at the entrance to Prospect Park.
A pop-up vaccination site is opening today at the corner of Parkside and Ocean avenues.
New Yorkers can get their vaccine from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the new location with no appointment needed.
The goal is to continue creating convenient ways for New Yorkers to get vaccinated.
Gov. Andrew Cuomo says over 17 million doses have been administered in New York state and around 49.2% residents have at least one dose of a coronavirus vaccine.
The governor says the coronavirus infection rate remains low, but he encourages anyone not vaccinated to take advantage of the pop-up sites.
