Preparations are underway as former President Donald Trump will be speaking at a historic rally Thursday in Crotona Park.
Gates, barricades and a mobile Trump store full of flags and signs are in place throughout the park for the 3,500 - 5,000 attendees, according to organizers on site.
The rally marks the first time a campaigning presidential candidate has been to the Bronx since 2016. Today will be Trump's first event open to the public as he tries to gain more support from Black and brown voters.
This is a free event that's open to the public. Gates opened at 3 p.m. and the rally kicks off at 6 p.m.
