Some preschoolers from the Lion of Judah Christian Academy marched Wednesday with reformers who are fighting for increased gun control.
The school says it was inspired by the principle "whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly."
The march on Fordham Road was to show support for gun control efforts. It was part of a nationwide initiative spurred be teachers called #ArmMeWith, which asks for more counselors, books and other resources rather than guns.
Following the Feb. 14 high school shooting in Parkland, Florida, students of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School have come out against arming teachers and have been vocal about banning assault rifles or raising the age requirement for purchasing firearms.
