A Bronx politician is facing voter fraud charges for allegedly using fake absentee ballots in his election campaign for state Assembly last year.
Prosecutors allege that campaign workers for Hector Ramirez forged signatures on ballots for the state Assembly's 86th District Democratic primary.
Despite the allegations, Ramirez wound up losing to incumbent Victor Pichardo.
Ramirez faces over 200 counts of voter fraud.
