Demonstrators have been calling for justice for weeks in the wake of George Floyd’s death. One group is standing out because instead of chants, they’re sending a message with silence.
Wednesday marks three weeks of protesting in New York City. It is Day 19 for protesters at McCarren Park.
Protesters have made it a part of their daily routine and have made it clear that the route to racial equality is a marathon, not a sprint.
They say that is why repetition is so important.
