Wednesday marked opening day for all outdoor public pools around the city.

The pools will be open from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. every day until Sept. 9.

There will be a break for pool cleaning between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m.

One pool in each borough received a makeover as part of the Parks Department's Cool Pools initiative.
