Brooklyn residents celebrated Puerto Rican pride on Sunday at the fifth annual Knickerbocker Avenue Puerto Rican Parade.
The parade's theme this year is ‘Somos El Corazon de Nuestra Comunidad’ which means “We are the heart of the community.”
Organizers say that they hope to shed light on the importance of giving back along with prioritizing health.
