Queens man arrested in Suffolk County for drunk driving, endangering child

A Queens man is facing multiple charges after allegedly driving drunk and nearly crashing into a Suffolk County police vehicle.


Terrance Brown, 45, was arrested Sunday night on Veterans Memorial Highway in Suffolk County after running a red light at Old Willets Path.


Suffolk County police found Brown intoxicated, with his girlfriend and her 11-year-old son inside the vehicle. Further investigation revealed the car's plates had been previously reported stolen.


Brown is charged with Driving While Intoxicated (DWI), Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, and Possession of Stolen Property.


He is set to be arraigned today in Suffolk County Court.
