Rapper Cardi B took the stage at the Coney Island Art Walls in Brooklyn Saturday night to the delight of excited fans.

Fans told News 12 they couldn't wait to see Cardi B perform so close to home.

“This is the second time I’m seeing her," one fan said. "The first time I ever saw her was at Summer Jam last year, so I had to come see Cardi B. I called out of work, I canceled plans and I said, 'I need to see Cardi B.'”

Other fans flew in from out of state to see the Bronx-native rapper.

“It’s just an experience I’ve never had before and I wanted to see what it was like," another fan said. "I’ve seen it [Coney Island] on TV a lot, so I said I might as well come by and see what’s going on.”

News 12’s Daniella Rodriguez was at the venue speaking to fans as they lined up in excitement.
