Looking for an apartment? You may want to check out The Arabella.
As part of “Rebuilding the Bronx,” News 12 visited one of Fordham’s newest residential buildings.
The nine-story building features a community balcony overlooking Fordham Plaza, offering residents a 360-degree view of the neighborhood. The space gives tenants the option to host or attend community events during warmer months.
“Outdoor fitness classes — we host different resident events, like putting a DJ out there, having people come and lounge around, putting food out there, different mix-and-mingle events,” said Ryan Page of PeakMade Real Estate.
The building offers one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments. Units come fully furnished, though residents may bring their own furniture if they prefer. Each floor also includes a laundry room.
Additional amenities include a full-time doorman and an in-house gym.
“All brand-new fitness appliances, from your Smith machine to all of your cardio equipment,” Page said. “It is open 24/7.”
Another feature of the building is New York City’s first Sky Zone trampoline park, expected to open in February. The attraction will be open to the public, not just residents.
Bronx native and franchisee Jesus Horton said he wanted to bring something positive to the community, especially for children.
“Jumping and burning energy, just having good old-fashioned fun,” Horton said. “With what’s going on in the streets now, at least they can come here as a family and enjoy themselves.”
For those with a sweet tooth, Maya’s Snack Bar — a family-owned business — is located downstairs and open to the public.
Leasing options are still available.
