Officials are issuing a recall on the Gourmia 6-quart pressure cookers for burn hazards.

There's a major warning for more than 40,000 pressure cookers sold between 2017 and 2020 by retailers including Best Buy and online over a burn risk. Five people have gotten burned, four of them severely.

The consumer product safety commission says the lid can open while it's still pressurized, which could cause severe second-degree burns. Other issues with these cookers include a float valve that's hard to see and incorrect volume markings on the inner pot.

If you have one, official say to stop using it and throw it out immediately.
