The Bronx saw record-breaking warm weather Wednesday.
Many residents wearing shorts and T-shirts went to Van Cortlandt Park in Riverdale to enjoy the warmest day of the year.
Parkgoers were pleasantly surprised by the spring-like temperatures, saying the park was the perfect way to take a break from school or work and just relax.
"If it were winter, I would probably be exhausted and sitting inside," said Juliette Rodriguez, a student at Manhattan College. "The sun, it just makes everything better."
