Children in Morris Heights now have their chance to pursue their dreams as musicians thanks to the opening of a new recording studio.
Bronx Rises Against Gun Violence, or B.R.A.G., officially opened the studio in the Good Shepherd Services Building Wednesday.
Program organizers say some of the best equipment was brought in to make the studio complete and help make youths successful in many areas of the music industry.
"The music studio is going to allow us to run curriculum with them and teach the industry from the ground up," says program director David Caba.
B.R.A.G. says it has dramatically cut down on shootings in the neighborhood through its work.
