The NYPD released body camera footage showing members of its Harbor Unit rescue passengers from a seaplane in the East River.

Fire officials say the plane was carrying eight passengers when it made a rough emergency landing in the river near East 23rd Street and the FDR drive just after noon on Sunday.

The newly released video shows officers rushing to the scene and securing the plane to the NYPD boat.

An officer is heard asking a passenger how many people are aboard and if anyone is hurt.

The passenger responds, "Everybody's OK."

The video then shows the officers guiding all eight passengers to safety aboard the boat.

Authorities say two people suffered minor injuries and turned down medical attention.

The plane made it upright and was towed back to the dock.

What caused the emergency landing remains unclear as of Monday night, although the FAA says the landing caused a wing strut to snap.
