It’s been exactly one year ago today that NBA and Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant died in a helicopter crash in California.

His daughter Gianna and seven others also died in the crash.

Bryant was a five-time NBA champion, 18-time All-Star, and the league's MVP in the 2007-2008 season.

Bryant will be inducted into the basketball hall of fame in May. The ceremony was originally scheduled for August, but was postponed by the coronavirus pandemic.
