The quality of service on most subway lines running through the Bronx has deteriorated from last year, according to an annual survey by the Staphangers Campaign released Tuesday.
The train lines that fared the worst in the borough include the 1, 4, 6, B and D trains.
According to the survey, however, the 2, 3 and 5 lines have seen an improvement in service since last year.
The survey also found an overall drop in subway car performance due to frequent breakdowns.
In compiling the report, the Staphangers Campaign considered wait and arrival times, cleanliness, clear announcements and the likelihood of getting a seat.
The report comes on the heels of an announcement by the MTA that a possible fare increase may go into effect next year.
