The New York Post reports that dozens of homeless men were relocated to Hotel Indigo in Downtown Brooklyn.
The newspaper says its teams saw people being dropped off at the boutique hotel Friday afternoon.
It comes after Mayor Bill de Blasio had said that the use of commercial hotels for the homeless during the pandemic would soon end.
News 12 reached out to the Department of Homeless Services for comment. It said it cannot confirm which hotels are being used for this program due to safety.
The department's statement said in part, "We are working with DOHMH to determine when and how clients can be safely relocated back to shelters from the temporary emergency hotel relocation sites, and we'll inform communities when our City is ready to take that step."
