Students from the St. Catharine Academy in the Bronx are demanding private MTA bus service after four girls were left bruised and beaten during an attack, according to reports.
The girls were attacked on a Bx8 on their way home from school in November.
According to the New York Post, the girls claim they no longer feel safe, and they are asking the MTA to provide a private bus for students at their school.
MTA officials say they will consider the request.
However, critics are calling the girls' request 'unfair.'
Police are investigating November's attack as a hate crime.
