Bronx residents who live along East 169th Street say that for weeks rent checks and other bills never made it to their destinations.
The latest mail thefts were reported on East 169th Street and Grand Concourse.
Resident Barbara Malina says she's missing two money orders, and her cable bill was never delivered to her provider. Another resident told News 12 that his rent money was taken too.
Malina hasn't seen anyone steal the mail, but she thinks it may have something to do with a sticky substance inside the mailbox located at the corner of 169th and Grand Concourse.
News 12 checked the mailbox, and found a very sticky glue-like substance on the inside, which makes it hard for letters to drop all the way in.
