The 4.8 magnitude earthquake that impacted New York City on Friday has millions on edge, but for those in a building that’s seen a partial collapse in the recent months, those fears skyrocketed.
Residents of 1915 Billingsley Terrace say that even though that building has been patched up, the earthquake is bringing more concerns.
The Department of Buildings tells News 12 that they will be adding extra engineering and inspection staff in case there are reports of damage, and that they will conduct random inspections of different sites across New York City.
