Bronx residents celebrated the holidays Puerto Rican-style Monday.
A parranda procession started in Melrose at 4 p.m.at the Bronx Documentary Center on Cortlandt Avenue.
A parranda is a group that goes around singing Christmas carols and using live instruments.
The group used traditional Puerto Rican instruments while parading from place to place, picking up people along the way.
