13h agoHundreds of people gathered on Sunday to celebrate Italian heritage at the Columbus Day parade in Morris Park.
Marching bands, cheerleaders, local businesses, the FDNY and costumed jesters came out to show off their Italian pride.
"I've always been very in-tune with my culture, this parade has always been a big part of my life, so I'm very excited to be here. I grew up coming to this parade,” said Brianna Rachiele, who was crowned Miss Columbus 2023.
