Unexplained drainage that freezes due to colder weather creates slick road conditions for some Bronx motorists.
Residents say mysterious runoff on Shore Road in Pelham Bay has been an issue for the past five years, stretching nearly 1 mile long and freezing during the winter.
Residents say they have complained to the Department of Transportation about the issue.
However, the DOT says the only thing it can do is place salt over the frozen areas to temporarily remedy the issue.
