Some religious families who are abstaining from eating meat on Friday during Lent grabbed slices of pizza, despite that many restaurants have been forced to turn away dine-in costumers during the coronavirus outbreak. Emilio's Pizzeria in Throgs Neck had a steady flow of customers where an employee said most of the orders have been of plain or vegetable pies because of Lent.
