Restaurants across the city are preparing for outdoor dining, which will be included in Phase 2 of the city's reopening.

Restaurants will be allowed to place their tables and chairs on city sidewalks and even in parking spots along the curb in front of their restaurants.

But there will be a strict set of guidelines in place. Tables must be at least 6 feet apart. Bus stops, fire hydrants and intersections cannot be blocked.

Indoor dining areas will remain closed for the time being.

Staff must wear a mask, as well as patrons who are not eating.
