A local nursing home is celebrating its 100th birthday with a few guests who know a little bit about what happened during those last 100 years.
Residents of the Hebrew Home 100 and older were invited for a preview of the home's anniversary exhibit.
The Hebrew Home opened in 1917. It has provided shelter for poor, aging immigrants ever since.
The shelter now resides on a 32-acre campus in Riverdale.
The 100th anniversary exhibit will be a permanent fixture at the home for all residents to look back on.
