Riverdale residents say Con Edison and the city aren’t doing enough to help their neighborhood recover after it was hit by Tropical Storm Isaias.

Residents say they have been without power since Tuesday and have only gotten mixed messages from Con Edison about when it will return.

"Con Ed gives a deadline of Friday at 11 p.m., then Saturday at 11 p.m. Now it's Monday at 11 p.m.," says Martin Bern. "It's just one thing after another, it's not just a customer out, there are blocks of people out of power here."

Residents say the storm caused downed trees to block the road, utility poles to lean on houses and wires fallen on city sidewalks. However, they say crews have made no attempt to clean up the damage until Sunday.
Many neighbors are calling on Mayor Bill de Blasio and the city to do more
"Listen Mayor, where are you? Why aren't you in the Bronx? Enough, we want more, we need more," says Sheena Moran.
