There's some construction along Rosedale Avenue that's causing concern for nearby residents in Soundview.

News 12 asked workers on site, who say they're contracted by Con Edison to check out the gas mains along Rosedale Avenue.

They said they'll be working from Westchester Avenue all the way down to the ferry.

"Every other week, they're making different holes in different places," said Diane, a concerned resident. She and her friend Matilda complained about the noise. They told News 12 that the construction wakes them up daily around 6 a.m.

Matilda said she was "annoyed" by the "constant" noise.

If it's not here, it's over there across the street," she says.
