Search efforts are continuing for a woman who vanished while walking her dog over the weekend.
Diana Perez, 42, was last seen walking her white English pit bull terrier Sunday morning. According to the ASPCA, Perez's dog was found hours later, tied up outside an abandoned car wash on 165th Street and Bruckner Boulevard.
Perez's family members say they have gone to every business in the area, begging merchants to review surveillance video in hopes that it may lead to clues of her whereabouts. They say that Perez would never vanish voluntarily and that she wouldn't venture further than three blocks from her home.
News 12 the Bronx is told that Perez was looking forward to her son's junior high prom and graduation taking place this week.
Family members of the missing woman have been busy hanging fliers and saying prayers in hopes that their loved one will come home safe and unharmed.
