A Brooklyn boutique owner says her business is being impacted by the supply chain crisis and says it is causing her shipments to be delayed.
Minji Kim owns the Min K boutique in Park Slope, which is known for its unique fashions. But now, she says those items are difficult to get due to the crisis.
She says instead of letting those obstacles keep her down, she’s finding the positivity in it all. She says rather than getting fashions from overseas, she is now working with local designers.
"It's a better business model for me just working with local designers, and I have wonderful relationships with these designers that I pick and choose and that I can call on the phone,” said Kim.
Kim is urging shoppers to start holiday shopping early due to the limited supply of everything.
