News 12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Joe Martucci says New York City is in for a muggy and rainy stretch into most of next week.
SUNDAY: Wash, rinse and repeat from Saturday. A likely dry morning will flare up hit-or-miss showers and storms during the afternoon and evening. Winds will continue to be out of the south. That will make it a few degrees warmer than Saturday. Highs will be in the mid-80s.
MONDAY: Weather to Watch Spotty showers will be around during the day, but it'll mostly be dry. During the evening, a line of severe weather may come through, likely between 6 p.m. and midnight. Highs will be in the upper 70s.
TUESDAY: Periods of rain and storms. Some dry time. Highs will be in the upper 70s.
WEDNESDAY: Showers and storms, mainly in the morning. Highs will be around 80 degrees.
THURSDAY: Pop-up p.m. showers and storms. Highs will be around 80 degrees.
FRIDAY: A mix of sun and clouds. This will be our first day without rain in the forecast for 10 days. Highs will be in the mid-80s.
