A second suspect in a shooting that injured a 5-year-old girl in Olinville was arrested after being at large for nearly a year.

Police say Austin Morrishow and another man were firing guns at three different cars near East 213th Street and Holland Avenue in 2023.

One of those bullets hit a girl who was in the backseat of a car, according to police. She survived the shooting.

Authorities say Morrishow has been on the run since June 30 of 2023. He was caught by police in the Bronx on Wednesday afternoon.

Police say he is charged with possession of ammunition after a felony conviction.

The first suspect, Curtis White, was arrested last year and faces the same charges as Morrishow.
