Police are asking for the public’s help identifying four people wanted for a violent gang assault that occurred Aug. 19 in Mott Haven.

Authorities say the 28-year-old victim was walking on East 145th Street and Third Avenue when he got into an argument with the group.

The individuals began to punch, kick and stab him multiple times.

Police say he was hospitalized for treatment and is expected to be OK.

The four suspects ran from the scene on Third Avenue and are still at large.
