The National Weather Service issued a tornado warning for parts of Nassau County, Bronx and Westchester during a round of severe storms earlier this afternoon.

Severe thunderstorm warnings were also issued earlier in the day but all have since passed.

Letting you know, you have to bundle up for it. Oh, it's going to be super cold out there but dry though, right? Any sort of rain or snow because I know we had those festive flakes yesterday. But listen, it's going to be layers upon layers. If we're heading out towards the Rockefeller center tree lighting tonight, the winds are also going to be blustery, which is why it's going to feel colder than what the thermometer says. Wind gust forecast pretty much. You're seeing those 15 to 25 mile per hour into the lighter morning and the afternoon hours. So the wind's not going anywhere anytime soon. At least not today. It's gonna make it feel quite a bit colder. So later on this morning again, it feels like temperatures teens to around 20 not much of an improvement this afternoon. So heading out for lunch, maybe pack that lunch though right now before you head out the door. So you don't have to be outside an extra bit longer because take a look at 27 degrees that feels like temperature for Bathgate as well as more Sanny at 26 for Mott Haven 26. For Colum Bay feels like temperature at around noon today into the afternoon and evening. We'll see a little bit of an improvement, but again, twenties more or less. Will we feel like temperatures again? 23 for Park Chester and North Bay Chester at about eight o'clock this evening into the overnight hours. We'll see those temperatures stumble again but not as cold as this morning. This morning is going to be the coldest morning tomorrow, not as cold but still bundle up because it feels like temperatures 23 26 20 three. It's still going to be a cold start. Tomorrow morning, improvements begin into the afternoon as the sunshine comes up, the wind changes direction to more of a southerly wind and that's a milder wind. So the temperatures are going to start off near freezing tomorrow into the afternoon, get up into the middle, maybe even upper 40. So hour by hour, you could see us getting up to about 47 to 48 degrees into the afternoon. The next weather story is actually going to be rain on the way for Friday afternoon. It starts off north and west, but I think by about two or three P ma couple of showers are possible and then likely for the evening commute. There's going to be a little bit of an issue though for Friday evening's commute, maybe make a little bit earlier of a get away there Friday afternoon and then the weekend is looking ok for now, the big, the big thing here is that it will be near 50 degrees. We enjoy that. Ok. So that's the plus side there, back to some normal t rain with that. All right, Alan, thank you one a few minutes.
