Bronxites hit grocery stores to do their last-minute errands ahead of the snow.
Dozens of shoppers were out at the Shoprite of Bruckner Boulevard loading up their carts with groceries.
Many were grabbing the essentials: water, bread and toilet paper.
Shoppers told News 12 that they were getting everything they needed before hunkering down inside.
The city is urging New Yorkers to avoid travel during the winter weather. Some people got a head-start on the stay-at-home warnings and avoided store crowds by placing delivery orders. Instacart shopper Jeanne says she'll have a lot of work.
"The last time it snowed, it was real busy," Jeanne said. "A lot of people don't want to come out, just want their stuff delivered."
