When it comes to skiing, snow is everything.
Mount Peter marketing director John Baiata says everyone at the ski resort is excited to finally see some real snow.
“Oh my God, it’s so exciting! This is like spotting an endangered species,” said Baiata.
Kids and families took advantage of the fresh snow on top of the manmade snow already on the mountain.
“You just have to look up and look out and people are happy,” said Baiata.
Warwick saw some heavy snow for about an hour mid-afternoon, but for skiers the rare sighting this winter was just enough to make their day.
Mount Peter is open for skiing six days a week.
