Residents across the borough dealt with a consistent downpour of rain and wind Tuesday.
In Parkchester, pedestrians were spotted escaping the rain by huddling under bus shelters.
Drivers should make sure their windshield wipers are in good, working condition and give themselves plenty of extra time to get to their destinations.
The poor conditions will continue Wednesday with a chance of thunderstorms and temperatures reaching the 60s.
