A storm system is bringing rain showers to the borough to wrap up this first weekend of 2021.
The on-and-off rain showers that began earlier today may become more moderate and steadier through this evening.
Parts of the city could also see some wintry mix at times, especially in northern areas of the Bronx.
Overnight hours will see more continuing showers before the precipitation tapers off early Monday morning.
For the rest of Monday, lingering morning clouds will give way to afternoon sun. It'll be breezy at times with highs near 43.
Expect a more tranquil stretch of weather for much of the work week, but News 12 meteorologists are tracking the chance of another storm for next weekend, so stay with us for the very latest forecast information.
