Residents at the Bronx River Houses in Soundview say they feel their cries have gone unheard and their property has been neglected following Tropical Storm Isaias.
Two large trees fell during the storm and weeks later, they still have not been cleaned up.
Residents say it is difficult to get around, especially for seniors, since the branches are massive. The tree is also blocking an emergency entrance to a senior and children's center.
On the other side of the building, another tree is down - resting on scaffolding. Residents say they're afraid another storm will just make this worse.
One person said they saw a few people trimming some of the branches to clear the walkway.
News 12 reached out to NYCHA. Sources say the trees are scheduled to be removed soon and the sidewalk shed will be repaired once that happens.
