Sources: Man fatally stabbed in Prospect Park had tried to perform sex act on suspect
Sources tell News 12 the man who was fatally stabbed in Prospect Park had tried to perform a sex act on the person who killed him.
Police say officers responded to the Grand Army Plaza area around 2:30 a.m. Monday and found 37-year-old Miguel Andrews with multiple stab wounds to his torso and arms. The unconscious man was transported for treatment and pronounced dead.
Sources say Andrews and the suspect in custody, 28-year-old Anthony Dejesus, were both inside the park smoking marijuana when Andrews started to perform a sex act.
News 12 is told Dejesus claims he had to stab Andrews to get away.
Dejesus now faces murder and criminal possession of a weapon charges.
