Sources: Officer shot in the head inside locker room of 47th Precinct
Sources say a police officer appeared to have suffered from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head inside the locker room.

9h agoAn NYPD officer has been shot at the 47th Precinct in the Bronx.
Police sources tell News 12 that the officer was in the locker room at the precinct when they shot themselves in the side of the head. It is not yet clear if the gunshot was intentional or accidental.
The officer was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi.
Police sources say that the bullet seems to have missed the officer's brain, and that the officer is expected to survive.
