3h agoNYPD officers from the Community Affairs Bureau went to Spuyten Duyvil to deliver a birthday surprise to a 22-year-old.
David Berk has a rare genetic condition that causes a decline in mental and motor functions.
His loved ones say his soul is stronger than ever.
“It's just amazing that we get the opportunity to come out here and share this with our community,” says Mark Stewart, deputy commissioner for the Community Affairs Bureau.
The officers brought out a horse, a dog, a robot dog, a helicopter and a bunch of NYPD swag.
