Bronx residents celebrated St. Patrick's Day in Woodlawn Saturday afternoon.
Shamrocks, leprechauns and the Irish flag filled Katonah Avenue in honor of the day.
People told News 12 that another way for them to connect to their culture.
“I miss home, but I love it here because everyone in the neighborhood celebrates,” said Brianne Gartlin, an Ireland native. “A couple of drinks, a couple of hot whiskeys, a few clovers and we're set to go.”
