Bedford Park residents told News 12 on Friday they are worried to take the train after a stabbing at the station this week.

Police confirm a 40-year-old man was stabbed at the Bedford Park Boulevard train station around 8 p.m. on Wednesday.

“I don’t even come the same way sometimes, I walk a different way because I don’t know who watching, who looking at me I don’t know none of that, so that’s what we normally do,” said a neighbor, Inga James.

The man hurt in the attack was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital and is in stable condition.

Meanwhile, officials are looking for a man, who was last seen wearing all gray and a black hat. Police encourage anyone who knows anything to contact the Crime Stoppers Hotline.
