The state opened four new COVID-19 testing sites at subway stations this week.
A new testing site is open at the Coney Island Stillwell subway station. Neighbors say they were glad to see shorter lines at the location Wednesday.
"It's just the best. People have been standing in the line for hours with their kids. This is the best decision,” said resident Valentina Raskina.
Right now, there are 11 total Metropolitan Transportation Authority stops where you can get tested, two of which are in Brooklyn.
There are also two stations in the Bronx where you can get tested: the Bedford Park and East 180th Street stations.
The state hopes this initiative cuts wait times elsewhere and brings more people in to get tested.
